Places To Eat… Tupi

1

I went down to Tupi in Peckham with Michaela to try out the vegan options. I had never tired Brazilian food before so really had no idea what to expect. They had a big variety on the menu and a fair few vegan options.

Walking in the space was open and welcoming, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

What we ended up ordering:

2

TUPI SUPER BRUNCH GF – avocado, chia seeds, quinoa, kale, pumpkin seeds, broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes.

This was very light and fresh made a very nice salad side for whole meal.

OLIVES AND SOURDOUGH – home seasoned olives and sourdough

This was simple and nice, the olives had a nice seasoning to it and the crispy toasted  sourdough worked well with the whole meal.

VEGAN FELJOADA GF – black beans, tofu, sweet potatoes and mushroom casserole

This was such a nice small plate that went well with the quinoa salad, it was bursting with flavours and nice texture from the black beans, mushrooms and sweet potatoes, a combo that works well. Comforting and filling.

WILD MUSHROOM GF – wild mushroom and sweet potatoes light curry served with rice and quinoa

This was such a delicious epic meal, soooo delicious the highlight of the whole experience for me, the mushrooms where in this rich delicious flavoursome creamy sauce and the rice was sticky style with quinoa which lighten it up more. Every mouthful was heavenly. I did not want this meal to end.

IMMUNE JUICE – turmeric root, oranges, ginger, lemon and black pepper

GREEN AND MEAN – apple, cucumber, celery, kale, ginger and lemon

This juices were so delicious lovely flavour combos that work but also made fresh to order

Loved both of these.
